Getting to Grindelwald
From Zurich airport, the train to Grindelwald takes around 3 hours with transfers: you always pass through Interlaken and change to the Bernese Oberland Railway. That is why the group lands in Zurich, has dinner together and continues to the Alps with a stop in Lucerne.
March weather
In Interlaken, in the valley, March ranges between 3 °C and 11 °C, with rain or snow and much colder weather as you go up. It is a changeable season: bring layers and waterproof footwear.
